Welcome to Wilderness Craft

Based in Leicestershire and working along the canals, we combine traditional craftsmanship with a deep understanding of life on the water. Run by a husband and wife team, we take immense pride in delivering honest craftsmanship whether we’re building bespoke furniture in the workshop or out on the cut painting and maintaining narrowboats.

We don’t rush our work, and we don’t cut corners. It’s just good craftsmanship, done properly.

Built for the Water

We focus on using the right materials and the proper techniques for every single job. From selecting hard-wearing timber that handles the damp on the water to using traditional, time-tested joinery in the workshop, we build everything to last. We don’t care about rushing through a high volume of jobs—we care about doing the work in front of us to a standard we’re proud to sign our name to.
